Join us at our home!

For many reasons, more and more couples are looking to get their “legal” ceremony out of the way. We are happy to help and make the experience as easy and meaningful as possible.

We open our home to couples and small parties to meet with one of our celebrants to perform a ceremony.

We do require that couples let us know they intend to come by. To register for a drop-in ceremony, complete the form below. If the date has an available slot, we have an opening for you!

Requirements:

You must have a valid marriage license from a Virginia Circuit Court.

Witnesses are not required in Virginia.

Additional guests (not counting the couple) is 6 or fewer.

Steps:

  1. Search for an available date below.
  2. Fill out a brief form.
  3. Make a payment of $155. Refunds and cancelations are allowed of up to 24 hours in-advance with a fee of just $5.

Important Notes:

We look forward to having you at our home for your ceremony. Below are some details for joining us:

  • Please remember to bring your marriage licenses and any related materials from the court. We are not able to perform legal ceremonies without the marriage licenses present.
  • Weather forecasts change, but that won’t stop us! We will have your ceremony rain, snow or shine – please dress accordingly. Again, our space can comfortably up to 6 guests plus the couple. 
  • When arriving at our address, look for a white sign with “RVA Civil Marriage Celebrants – By Appointment Only” posted near the road. Drive down and park anywhere on our blacktop driveway. When you are ready, make your way to our front door where we will greet you. 
  • Once on-site, and prior to performing the ceremony, we will briefly chat with the couple to review marriage licenses, and ceremony language.
  • We usually have several great couples meeting with us. In the event that you are running late, please kindly give us a call/text at the number below to coordinate.
  • Refund Policy: With 24 hours notice, you will be issued a refund, minus a $5 fee.
